MetroForge v0.5.0 alpha brings eight more city skylines
Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Washington, and Seattle join the real-scale city roster.
MetroForge v0.5.0 alpha expands the city roster from two to ten American cities. Each new skyline uses real building heights joined from OpenStreetMap and Microsoft footprint data, giving the transport network a city that feels grounded before the first route is drawn.
Eight new cities
- Boston
- Chicago
- Los Angeles
- Atlanta
- Philadelphia
- San Francisco
- Washington
- Seattle
The core loop stays the same: import a city, place stations, draw a network, and watch demand react as vehicles move through the streets. The native alpha runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux, while the browser demo offers a short version of the route-building loop.
MetroForge is still an alpha, with frequent updates and rough edges expected. See the current build and browser demo for the latest version.
