Electioneer scenario packs just got a lot bigger

Fifteen new elections landed today, and every pack grew at the same price. The US Historical pack now reaches back to 1960: Kennedy against Nixon, the Johnson landslide, 1968, Watergate's shadow in 1972, and Carter against Ford. The UK pack adds the Wilson and Heath years, including both 1974 elections and the February hung parliament. The Global pack picks up Canada 2015 and 2019, Germany 2017, France 2012, and Australia 2019. Each scenario is calibrated against the real result and ships with its real campaign events. That takes the catalog to 47 paid campaigns plus the free scenarios and the daily challenge, in the store now. Also new today: a campaign editor for building your own candidates and races, cloud saves for signed-in players, and a timeline that shows week by week why you won or lost.

The new lakesidegames.net is live

One site for all three games, with real screenshots and live world numbers. Electioneer and the MetroForge browser toy are now playable directly at lakesidegames.net/games/electioneer and lakesidegames.net/games/metroforge.

MetroForge v0.5.0-alpha: eight more cities get their real skylines

Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Washington, and Seattle now render with true building heights joined from OpenStreetMap and Microsoft footprint data, bringing the roster to ten cities. Builds for Windows, macOS, and Linux are on the download page.

A House Divided passes turn 1,000

The Beta 2 world has now advanced more than a thousand consecutive hourly turns. Over 300 players, 51 parties, and roughly 2,500 simultaneous elections across eight countries, all still running.

Electioneer: 34 elections, all free in open beta

The full catalog is open: 34 campaigns across the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Canada, and Australia, from 1980 to 2024, plus a daily challenge with a shared seed and a leaderboard. No account needed to play.
